On Sunday it was time to say goodbye to Hong Kong and head for Changsha Hunan. The flight was only about an hour and 20 minutes. We flew on Hong Kong Airlines. We were met at the airport by the very wonderful, organized and most excellent Spicy Auntie Daphne. She helped get all of our luggage to the hotel which was about 40 minutes away. Later that evening we all had dinner at the "western buffet" which did have some western food but also things like snake in chili sauce and braised duck tongue. Daphne showed us where the local market (Whacko) was (luckily we didn't have to cross any major streets) where we could get supplies. She told us to get a good nights sleep because we would never have another one!
