Recovering
Very interesting
And Probably Delicious
And today was the dreaded doctor's appointment. Ainsley REALLY didn't appreciate some strange woman touching her! Everything was going pretty nifty. She is 28 inches long which is between the 25th and 50th percentile for her age. She weighes 17 lbs 10 oz which is between the 10th and 25th percentile. She screamed through the stethoscope and looking in her ears, not to mention the tongue dispenser. Mama and Baba were then very surprised to hear she had an ear infection! 3 different doctors have looked in her ears over the last 2 weeks and no one has mentioned anything before now so it must be fairly new (We sure hope, otherwise the WORST PARENTS OF THE YEAR award will be closer to our grasp). So, Ainsley is on Amoxicillin for the next 10 days and then we go back for a recheck. If everything goes well the real trauma is going to start, both for Ainsley and for us. Lots and lots of blood work to see what she still needs to be immunized for and check her health. Oh the stress, I'm starting to dread it now.

Yeah!!! She is all smiles ( I know their are tears too) while you are holding her. Thanks for journaling on your blog. My name is Melissa also and I live in Orlando. I have enjoyed following your journey. We meet with a Social worker tonight and we are getting the show on the road as they say. Appreciate your honesty, with printing the frustrating moments too. A lot of blogs only talk about the good stuff and that makes me nervous. I like to know about other peoples experiences. If you have any resources to share, I would appreciate it. Anisley is a doll, God Bless You in your new life together.
